This altimeter is the first dual deployment altimeter in the PICO
lineup.
It is a barometric altimeter and uses airpressure to
determine the Apogee and Main deployment points.
This unit is designed for the serious modeler who has plenty of
experience with dual deployment.
The limited instructions and
complicated wiring make it a high skill level job to install.
It can be used with single or dual battery setups using its two
connectors , one three pin for charges and one two pin for the
altimeter battery.
It was designed to minimize the
weight and allow the advanced modeler to install it the way he feels
is best.
It also has peak reporting and a high output buzzer that sounds, after the main charge, to help in recovery.
